If you are planning to organize a wedding in Tuscany, between Arezzo and Siena, I recommend taking into consideration the wonderful Castello di Gargonza which overlooks the Val di Chiana. The origins date back to around 1100. In 1300 it became a fortified village, populated by an agricultural community, which settled there for three centuries. In the 70s the owners began an important renovation that however did not change its charm and indeed enhanced the history of this enchanting place. Gargonza after nine centuries offers its guests cleverly furnished rooms and apartments, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and bucolic landscapes that make it a perfect location for weddings.
The charm of this castle has bewitched the spouse’s Ana and Justin who have chosen it as the ideal place to celebrate their marriage with relatives and friends from all over the world … I love international weddings !!!!
Hugs, laughter, tears of emotion marked the day, and for me to be able to document it was a great privilege.
The wedding celebration, preceded by an exciting first-look, took place in one of the pretty gardens of the village, while the reception took place in the restaurant outside the walls.
The bride and groom after the ceremony organized a flag-waving show for their guests, for a few moments, it seemed to me that I was living a day of medieval celebration.
The day ended with a tasting of typical Tuscan dishes and wines and wild dancing until late at night.
