As a wedding photographer, I can tell you that getting married in Portonovo means plunging into unspoiled nature and enjoying a crystal clear sea as the perfect frames of a truly special day!
Portonovo is part of the wonderful area of the Conero Park and, although in the official registers there is only one inhabitant, it is a very popular center with many tourists as it has one of the most beautiful and famous beaches of the Marche.
The peculiarity of this beach is also that that it has a green woods behind from which stand out three architectural jewels: the Church of Santa Maria (ancient, dating back to Roman times and enjoying a splendid sea view), the Watchtower (or Torre Clementina), built in 1716 to counter the pirate raids and then transformed into a refuge for poets where Gabriele D’Annunzio also stayed there and finally the Napoleonic Fortino, dating back to 1810 to prevent the British fleets from drawing fresh water from the land and which today has become a luxurious Hotel. Portonovo is really unique!
“Dance is a kind of poetry because its ultimate goal is to express feelings.”
Alessia and Santiago … it’s a kind of musical love!
As a wedding photographer in Italy I was really glad to know this cheerful and beautiful couple, strictly tied by a common passion, dance, and especially the Puerto Rican salsa, since they both are salsa teachers!
