The city of Macerata is in a splendid panoramic position on a hill located between the valleys of the rivers Chienti and Potenza, is the capital of a province incredibly beautiful and rich in art and nature trails that run along the Sibillini mountains to the Adriatic Sea.
The historic center, enclosed by the ancient city walls, has important Renaissance and Baroque palaces, majestic squares, numerous churches, elegant streets alternating with narrow streets and interesting museums.
Symbol of the city is the Sferisterio, a nineteenth-century arena built for an ancient ball game named “Pallone al Bracciale”.
Today it hosts cultural events including an important opera season: the “Sferisterio Opera Festival”.
Having visited the province as a wedding photographer, I can tell you that, besides the beautiful Macerata, there are many villages scattered in the area ideal to celebrate a very poetic wedding: just think of the famous Recanati, the “native village” of the Italian famous poet Giacomo Leopardi … more poetic than that !!!
“When the opposites meet, the soul is in tune with all that surrounds it.”
Elaiza and Emanuele are two opposites: different tastes and passions, a different idea of leisure activities and ideal holidays … but anyway, they are witnesses of a strong and flourishing love!
“Travel is a feeling.”
Marta, an Italian girl and Cedric, a French guy, met during a trip to Spain and since then, they started visiting together many beautiful European capitals, sharing a great curiosity and travel passion!
