“Oh please say to me
You’ll let me be your man
And please say to me
You’ll let me hold your hand”
(I want to hold your hand, the Beatles)
Thanks to Floriane and Nassim for choosing me as their wedding photographer in the beautiful Borgo di Castelvecchio, in the heart of the spectacular Val D’Orcia, near Pienza, in the province of Siena.
Obviously, you may just think to the gorgeous Tuscan setting to imagine a special wedding but this one was truly amazing!
Our bride and groom arrived from Dubai, but they have both Lebanese roots. They chose this famous Italian region to crown their dream of love!
For their special day they invited the 120 most important people in their lives including of course their mothers and fathers, Nassim’s brothers, Floriane’s sister, the little flower girl and the ring boy, together with their best colleagues, (a group of fun people who stayed cheerful throughout the banquet), Floriane’s best friends, and Nassim’s best friends too. In addition to these important people, bride and groom invited from Lebanon also some other key figures for their wedding party such as the priest, who came from Beirut, the hairdresser Roger Hajj Boutros, the makeup artist Rita Hage Boutros and the super DJ Jana Saleh.
For this special day, the bride chose a beautiful wedding dress by Sandra Mansour and shoes by extra famous Jimmy Choo, (a women common dream!), while the groom chose a classy dress by Gucci. The bride also wore a veil stopped by a lovely and bright accessory by Centimes Bourgeois Headpieces.
The ceremony was held in the magnificent village of Borgo di Castelvecchio. With its 32 rooms and its perfectly restored medieval village, it offers an exclusive location for a dream wedding, also thanks to a stunning view over the Tuscan hills. The estate has a Church for inner ceremonies but also two swimming pools, riding stables and it offers cooking classes for all guests, along with tastings of their wine, Perignano d’Orcia DOC and the chance to enjoy a variety of food and wine and art tours in the territory.
Floriane and Nassim welcomed their friends from the previous day, with an informal but perfectly arranged pizza party in the garden while the following day everyone was able to relax with an unforgettable goodbye brunch poolside.
Very nice details were added to the ceremony such as a Tuscan parade on the way to the wedding dinner, video interviews among their guests, 2 photo boots, (one with a Vespa and one withe 500 Fiat), to entertain their guests with thousand funny self-portraits and selfies.
Bride and groom required only a photo reportage and not posing shots. I enjoyed later mixing color and black and white photos to render the many emotional shades of this special wedding!
The presence of Delizia Catering of Sesto Fiorentino was impeccable. They guaranteed food and service of the highest standard for the delight of young and old.
Thank you to the second photographer Manuel Rossi!!!
Thanks again to Floriane and Nassim for choosing me as their wedding photographer in the exceptional Borgo di Castelvecchio venue and thanks for their enthusiasm to be remembered in my blog.
